Medan – October 28, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering USU participated in the Youth Pledge Day Commemoration Ceremony held in the courtyard of the Rectorate Bureau of Universitas Sumatera Utara.
This participation represented the faculty's involvement in commemorating a national day at the university level. The ceremony provided a shared space for members of the university community to reflect on the values of unity and national identity. For the academic community, these values are reflected in mutual respect and collaboration in carrying out institutional responsibilities.
This activity primarily supports SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through the strengthening of unity, institutional participation, and inclusive community life. SDG 4 – Quality Education is also relevant through character education and the cultivation of national values within the higher education environment.
