PT PLN (PERSERO) Unit Induk Pembangunan Sumatera Bagian Utara collaborated with Lembaga Penelitian Universitas Sumatera Utara (LP-USU) to establish an expert team from the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The team conducted a study on electromagnetic induction under the 275 kV Extra High Voltage Transmission System (SUTET) in the Simangkuk-Sarulla area in May 2022. The study aimed to evaluate the environmental impact of electromagnetic induction and provide scientifically-based solutions for managing the transmission system in the region.
