On Saturday, February 15, 2025, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held an Education Expo to socialize the 2025 National Selection for New Student Admission (SNPMB) for State Universities at the USU Auditorium.
The event was attended by school principals, teachers, and students from public and private high schools across North Sumatra Province. Also present were Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A. (USU Vice Rector I), Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, S.T., M.Eng. (Director of the Directorate of Educational Development), and Ir. Nismah Panjaitan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN. Eng. (Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Engineering).
The Faculty of Engineering actively participated in the event by setting up an exhibition booth showcasing faculty information and student innovations. Some of the featured projects included the Horas Car, the Asatama Car, and various works from the Architecture Engineering Study Program.

This event aims to provide prospective students with valuable insights, helping them make informed decisions about choosing Universitas Sumatera Utara, particularly the Faculty of Engineering, for their higher education.
