Medan, July 30, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a Class Scheduling Coordination Meeting in the Smart Classroom on the third floor of the Faculty of Engineering USU.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosdanelli Hasibuan, M.T., Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; Romi Jasman, S.T., M.T., Head of the Equipment and General Affairs Subdivision; Fadhil Satria, S.Kom; and study program operators from the undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and professional programs within FT USU.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to coordinate class scheduling in preparation for the socialization and training on the Classroom Management Application. Participants were also required to bring their laptops to facilitate hands-on discussions and practical training on the application based on the specific needs of each study program.
The meeting served as a coordination forum for study program operators to align scheduling requirements and prepare for the implementation of the application in classroom management. The activity is expected to enhance coordination among academic administrators while supporting a more systematic and efficient management of teaching schedules and classroom facilities.
The activity primarily supports SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by strengthening coordination and academic administrative governance. It also contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education through improved academic management that supports effective learning, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting the adoption of digital applications for managing academic facilities.

Through this initiative, FT USU reaffirms its commitment to strengthening academic governance, enhancing the capacity of study program operators, and promoting the strategic use of technology. Consistent coordination is expected to support more organized, accountable, and efficient management of class schedules and classroom facilities while advancing sustainable higher education.
