Medan, July 31, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a Faculty Work Meeting in the Meeting Room on the second floor of FT USU. The meeting was accompanied by the signing of performance contracts between the Dean and the Heads of Study Programs within the Faculty.

The meeting involved the Dean, Vice Deans, and Heads and Secretaries of undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and professional programs. The participation of faculty leadership and study program management provided a platform for cross-unit coordination in preparing for upcoming academic activities.

One of the main agendas of the meeting was preparation for lectures in Semester A of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The discussion was aimed at aligning study program readiness with the requirements for delivering lectures, although the available materials did not yet include detailed decisions or specific follow-up assignments resulting from the meeting.

The meeting was followed by the signing of performance contracts between the Dean and the Heads of Study Programs. The signing served as a direct outcome that clarified performance commitments at the study program level.

The activity primarily supports SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by strengthening accountability, coordination, and performance governance. The preparation for lectures is also related to SDG 4: Quality Education, as it is directed toward supporting well-planned and coordinated educational delivery.
