Indira Jauza, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, USU, achieved two first-place wins in national poster competitions. The two achievements addressed different health issues, namely mental health and the prevention of drug abuse.

The first achievement was earned in the Health Canvas 2.0 National Poster Competition, organized by the Information and Communication Network Division of the USU Student Executive Board on October 10, 2026. The competition carried the theme “OUTLOUD: Our Thoughts, Loud & Understood”.

The next achievement was obtained in the National Poster Competition organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Klaten on September 26, 2026. Through the theme “Young, Healthy, and Achieving Without Drugs,” the competition encouraged the delivery of messages about healthy lifestyles and drug prevention among young people.

These two achievements primarily support SDG 4 – Quality Education through the development and recognition of students’ competencies in visual communication. SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being is also relevant because the themes of the works relate to mental health and the prevention of drug abuse.

Indira Jauza’s achievements demonstrate that students can contribute to public education through creative works. These accomplishments are expected to encourage Faculty of Engineering, USU, students to continue developing their skills, understanding social issues, and participating responsibly in competitions.
