The USU Faculty of Engineering officially launches five new study programs as a strategic step to strengthen education, research, and innovation in STEM fields.

The USU Faculty of Engineering officially opens five new study programs.

 

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, continues to strengthen its contribution in education, research, and innovation. As a strategic step to support industry needs and national development, the USU Faculty of Engineering has officially launched several new study programs, namely:

1️⃣ Undergraduate Program in Logistics Engineering
2️⃣ Undergraduate Program in Mining Engineering
3️⃣ Undergraduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning
4️⃣ Master’s Program in Urban and Regional Planning
5️⃣ Doctoral Program in Electrical Engineering

 

The establishment of these new study programs is part of the USU Faculty of Engineering’s continuous transformation to produce excellent, high-integrity human resources who are adaptive to global challenges in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

New student admissions will begin in 2026.
