The Industrial Engineering program at Universitas Sumatera Utara hosted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on "The Role of Logistics Engineering, Industry Needs, and Future Logistics Trends" on February 19, 2025. The event featured industry experts and academics discussing logistics dynamics in the global era.
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) titled "The Role of Logistics Engineering, Industry Needs, and Future Logistics Trends." The event took place in the Smart Classroom of the Industrial Engineering Program.
The FGD was attended by Ir. Tigor Hamonangan Nasution, S.T., M.T., IPM. (Vice Dean II of FT USU), lecturers from the Industrial Engineering Program, and featured keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Ahmad Rusdiansyah, M.Eng. (Professor of Industrial Engineering – ITS Surabaya). The discussion focused on an Overview of Logistics Engineering Programs in Indonesia, a crucial topic for students and professionals to understand logistics dynamics in the global era.
The event continued with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Agreement (IA), the presentation of plaques and certificates, academic and industry expert presentations, and concluded with a discussion session.
