Medan, August 7, 2026 — The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a meeting to align assessors’ understanding in evaluating Lecturer Workload (BKD) Reports for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The meeting took place in the FT USU Meeting Room.

The activity was held in conjunction with the opening of the reporting period for the Even-Semester BKD Reports for the 2025/2026 Academic Year for lecturers at Universitas Sumatera Utara. In this context, FT USU facilitated coordination to ensure that assessors shared a common understanding when conducting the assessment process.

Through the forum, assessors were given an opportunity to review the assessment process and align their interpretation of the BKD Reports. This alignment was expected to minimize differences in understanding during the evaluation process and support more consistent academic reporting.

The activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening the evaluation of lecturer performance related to the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education. Coordination in assessment and reporting also contributes to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through efforts to strengthen orderly, transparent, and accountable academic governance.

Through this activity, FT USU reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening lecturer governance and academic quality assurance on an ongoing basis. These efforts form part of the faculty’s support for the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in a measurable, consistent, and responsible manner.
