The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a morning assembly on September 7, 2026. The assembly served as an internal forum for delivering directives, strengthening coordination, and maintaining work alignment within the faculty.

Serving as the assembly’s supervisor, Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure of FT USU, Ir. Muhammad Agung Putra Handana, S.T., M.T., delivered remarks on organizational change dynamics and emphasized that change is a normal part of an organization and can contribute to efforts to improve efficiency.

The remarks also emphasized the importance of maintaining smooth work processes when an organization undergoes adjustments. Changes in structure, mechanisms, or work patterns should not become obstacles or create issues that disrupt the implementation of daily tasks.

Through the morning assembly, the academic community and education personnel had an opportunity to develop a shared understanding of the importance of adaptability, communication, and professionalism in responding to change.

This activity primarily supports SDG 16—Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through strengthening work culture, organizational adaptation, and internal governance that supports the sustainability of institutional functions. FT USU is committed to building a professional, adaptive, and well-coordinated work environment in responding to organizational change dynamics.
