Medan, May 25, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) once again held its regular morning assembly in the parking area of the Faculty of Engineering. The event was attended by all faculty members and administrative staff within the faculty.

During this assembly, the Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral Mechanical Engineering Study Programs served as the organizing committee. Dr. Ir. M. Sabri, M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng. acted as the assembly supervisor.

The morning assembly forms part of the faculty's efforts to strengthen an orderly, disciplined, and well-coordinated work culture. Through this activity, all members of the Faculty of Engineering are able to align the implementation of their duties, enhance internal communication, and reinforce their shared responsibility in supporting academic and administrative services.

In addition to serving as a platform for delivering institutional updates and guidance, the assembly also fosters solidarity among faculty members and administrative staff. The participation of all attendees reflects a shared commitment to maintaining professionalism and supporting the smooth implementation of the faculty's various activities.

This activity supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by strengthening institutional governance and organizational discipline. It also contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) through efforts to enhance service quality and the professionalism of human resources within the higher education environment.

By holding regular morning assemblies, the Faculty of Engineering, USU, continues to foster a cohesive, responsive, and quality-oriented working environment in support of the implementation of the university's Tri Dharma—education, research, and community engagement.
