Medan, June 8, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held its regular morning assembly in the parking area of the Faculty of Engineering. The event was attended by all faculty members and administrative staff within the Faculty of Engineering.
On this occasion, the Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral Electrical Engineering Study Programs served as the organizing committee for the assembly. Dr. Ir. Ali Hanafiah Rambe, S.T., M.T. acted as the assembly supervisor.
The morning assembly served as a platform to strengthen internal communication and align the implementation of duties across the faculty. Through this regular gathering, faculty members and administrative staff were able to reinforce coordination in supporting academic services, administration, research, and community engagement activities.
In addition to fostering discipline, the assembly promoted a stronger sense of responsibility and solidarity among faculty members. Such collaboration is essential to ensuring that faculty programs and services are carried out in an orderly, effective, and sustainable manner.
This activity supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by reinforcing institutional governance, discipline, and organizational coordination. It also contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by maintaining the professionalism of human resources and the quality of educational services.
