The inspection was conducted to directly assess the condition of the facilities available within the Mechanical Engineering Study Program and identify inadequate facilities. The field inspection provided an overview of facilities that were still usable, those requiring repairs, and needs that should be considered for replacement or improvement.
The results of the inspection are expected to serve as a basis for more targeted follow-up in the management of facilities and infrastructure. Facilities that are no longer adequate may be prioritized for repair or replacement according to the needs and mechanisms applicable at the Faculty of Engineering USU.
This step is part of FT USU's efforts to support a safer and more comfortable learning environment for students, lecturers, and education personnel. Facility improvements are also expected to support the smooth implementation of academic activities and services within the Mechanical Engineering Study Program.
This activity primarily supports SDG 4 – Quality Education through the provision of a learning environment that supports the educational process, and is also related to SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through the maintenance and improvement of the quality of educational infrastructure. FT USU is committed to conducting continuous evaluations of facilities and infrastructure to support the quality of academic services.
