The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a meeting to review the IABEE Evaluator Evaluation Results for the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering on September 8, 2026.

The activity involved the Dean of FT USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Renita Manurung, M.T.; Head of the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering, Dr. Tuti Sarma Sinaga, S.T., M.T., CPLM; Secretary of the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering, Dr. Ir. Andri Nasution, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; as well as the IABEE accreditation teams for the 2026–2031 and 2021–2026 periods.

The main agenda of the meeting was to review the evaluation results provided by the IABEE evaluators. The forum formed part of efforts to establish a shared understanding among the team and identify the necessary follow-up actions in the international accreditation process.

This activity primarily supports SDG 4—Quality Education through the evaluation and strengthening of the quality of engineering education. SDG 16—Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions is also relevant through the processes of evaluation, coordination, and accountable academic governance. FT USU is committed to following up on the quality assurance process in a systematic and collaborative manner.
