Medan, August 26, 2026 — The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), conducted a review of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self-Evaluation Report (LED) for the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering at the FT USU Meeting Room on the second floor. The review focused on accountability, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, as well as Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (K3L) aspects.

The activity was attended by Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni of FT USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosdanelli Hasibuan, M.T.; Head of the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering, Ir. Gina Cynthia Raphita Hasibuan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D.; and the study program’s accreditation team. The involvement of faculty leadership and the drafting team supported a coordinated review of the documents.

During the activity, the team examined the completeness and consistency of information in the areas covered by the review. The immediate output was a set of review notes that can serve as a basis for improving the LKPS and LED, while the final level of document readiness remains dependent on subsequent revisions and finalization.

The review was part of a series of meetings in preparation for accreditation by LAM Teknik (LAMTEK). The subsequent agenda includes a review of the team structure and external environmental analysis, mission differentiation and quality assurance systems, document finalization on September 8, 2026, and document submission on September 10, 2026.

Substantively, the activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education through strengthening quality assurance and accreditation readiness at the doctoral level. Its focus on accountability, data consistency, and document governance also relates to SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Through the LKPS and LED review process, FT USU reaffirms its commitment to continuously strengthening academic governance and a culture of quality. Improvements at each stage are expected to support the readiness of the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering to undergo the LAMTEK accreditation process and contribute to the provision of sustainable, high-quality higher education.
