The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), participated in the men’s team table tennis competition held as part of the celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The FT USU team successfully secured Second Place.

Participation in team competitions is not solely focused on competitive results but also provides an opportunity to promote physical activity, discipline, and a sense of togetherness within the institution. The second-place achievement reflects FT USU’s active participation in enlivening the university-level Independence Day celebrations.

The activity primarily supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being through sports activities and the promotion of an active lifestyle. It is also relevant to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by fostering a healthy, participatory institutional environment that supports the well-being of the academic community.
