The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), participated in a series of Halal Bi Halal gatherings and alumni association inaugurations from various study programs to strengthen alumni bonds and contribute to national development.

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), participated in several Halal Bi Halal gatherings and inauguration events of alumni association boards within the FT USU community, attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, S.T., M.Sc., IPM (Dean of FT USU), including the following:

  1. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Halal Bi Halal and inauguration of the Architecture Alumni Association (IKARSI) were held at Inter Coffee USU, attended by Ar. Nazri Fahmi, IAI, as the Chairperson of IKARSI FT USU.

  2. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Halal Bi Halal and inauguration of the Chemical Engineering Alumni Association were held at the Smart Classroom of the Chemical Engineering Department, attended by Darwin Saleh, S.T., M.M., as the Chairperson of the Chemical Engineering Alumni Association FT USU.

  3. On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the Halal Bi Halal and the launch of the Electro Rise Together initiative took place at Wisma Bumiputera, Jakarta, attended by Ir. H. Tosip Tanjung, S.T., as the Chairperson of the Electrical Engineering Alumni Association FT USU.

 

It is hoped that these Halal Bi Halal gatherings and inauguration ceremonies will strengthen solidarity and reaffirm the role of alumni in supporting national development.
