Ima Ft Usu Inaugurates Its 2026–2027 Management Board

Medan – October 21, 2026, the Architecture Student Association of the Faculty of Engineering USU (IMA FT USU) held an inauguration ceremony for its 2026–2027 management board at the FT USU Auditorium.

In this management transition, Laskar Michael Putra Ndruru was recorded as the chairperson for the 2025–2026 period. The leadership responsibility was subsequently transferred to Muhammad Gilby Yanka Putra as the elected chairperson for the 2026–2027 period.

The event was attended by Reisya Ichwani, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., as Manager of Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs of FT USU, as well as Dr. Ar. Wahyuni Zahrah, S.T., M.S., IAI., as Head of the Undergraduate Program in Architecture. Several student association chairpersons from other study programs also attended.

The involvement of faculty members, study programs, and representatives of student organizations demonstrates support for the regeneration process of IMA FT USU. The inauguration marks the beginning of the new management board's responsibility in running the organization throughout its term.

This activity primarily supports SDG 4 – Quality Education through non-formal learning in leadership, responsibility, and student organization management. SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals is also relevant through the involvement of the study program, faculty management, IMA FT USU, and other student organizations.

Leadership regeneration is necessary to ensure that student organizations can maintain continuity in their activities and institutional responsibilities. A change in management also provides students with an opportunity to learn about leadership, communication, and organizational management.
