There is news of achievements from our beloved campus! The ranking of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) in the international ranking agency Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE WUR) is ranked as the 12th best university in Indonesia. THE WUR itself is a world university ranking using five indicators, namely teaching, research, citations, industry, income, and international outlook. There are 1,600 universities from 99 countries included in the list.
Launching data from THE WUR page, it can be explained that USU's ranking in the world's best universities is 1501+ or 1799, with a total score of 10.4-18.3. In the national ranking, out of 18 universities included in the THE WUR ranking, USU shot to 12th place. Previously, USU had also succeeded in achieving Excellent accreditation from BAN-PT. These two achievements were achieved in close proximity.
