Monthly Fellowship II carried the theme “I Choose Life,” featuring Rev. Gloria I. Balle, S.Th., M.Div. as the speaker. This theme was based on Deuteronomy 30:19, which encourages everyone to choose life and live each choice with full awareness and responsibility. Through this theme, participants were invited to understand that life is a gift from God that needs to be appreciated, safeguarded, and lived meaningfully.

In the delivery of God's word, participants were invited to reflect on various choices faced in daily life. Every decision made has consequences and can affect a person's life journey. Therefore, it is important for every individual to consider every choice wisely and use God's word as a guide in determining steps and making decisions.

The theme “I Choose Life” also reminded participants of the importance of building a life based on faith, hope, and love. Choosing life is not only interpreted as an effort to live, but also as a commitment to do things that bring goodness, maintain relationships with God and others, and avoid actions that can harm oneself or others.

Through the reflection and devotion presented, students were invited to appreciate life more and realize that every day is an opportunity to grow into a better person. In facing various challenges, whether in lectures, organizations, or personal life, students are expected to be able to demonstrate a positive, responsible attitude while holding fast to Christian values. In addition to being a medium to deepen the understanding of God's word, Monthly Fellowship II also serves as a forum for Christian Industrial Engineering students at USU to worship together and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. The togetherness in this service is expected to build closer relationships among students and create a mutually supportive environment for growth in faith and spiritual life.

Organizing this fellowship is part of the commitment of the Spirituality Division of HIMTI FT USU in providing routine spiritual development activities for Christian Industrial Engineering students at USU. Through such activities, students are expected not only to gain spiritual strength but also to have the opportunity to build togetherness, share experiences, and strengthen one another in living life as students.

Through Monthly Fellowship II themed “I Choose Life”, it is hoped that every participant increasingly understands the importance of choosing a life that accords with God's will. The values obtained through this service are expected to be applied in daily life, so that students are capable of making decisions wisely, carrying out responsibilities well, and becoming individuals who bring a positive impact to their surrounding environment.
