Monthly Recitation II carried the theme "Growing through Faith and Knowledge," featuring Ustadz Taufiqurrahman Nasution, M.Sos., as the speaker. This theme emphasizes the importance of balanced personal growth between knowledge development and strengthening faith as a foundation for leading life.
Through this theme, participants were invited to understand that the process of growing is not only related to academic achievements and mastery of knowledge, but also includes character formation, spiritual maturity, and the ability to apply good values in daily life.

In the material presentation, participants were encouraged to continuously develop themselves through a continuous learning process while strengthening their relationship with Allah SWT. Knowledge becomes an important preparation in understanding various issues and facing life's challenges, while faith serves as a guide in determining attitudes, making decisions, and undergoing every process with full responsibility.
Furthermore, this activity serves as a momentum for students to reflect upon themselves and evaluate the journey of life they have traversed. By strengthening faith and broadening horizons, students are expected to be capable of building a balance between intellectual and spiritual intelligence in facing various life dynamics, both within the campus environment and in society.
Monthly Recitation II also serves as a forum for Muslim Industrial Engineering students of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) to deepen Islamic insights, strengthen ties of kinship, and build togetherness among students. Through interactions and religious activities conducted routinely, it is hoped that a student environment will grow that mutually supports one another in self-development, strengthening spiritual values, and building positive character.
This activity is one form of spiritual development organized by the Spirituality Division of the Industrial Engineering Student Association, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (HIMTI FT USU). The periodic execution of recitations is an effort to provide a religious learning space that can support students' personal development, not only in academic aspects, but also in moral and spiritual aspects.
Through Monthly Recitation II with the theme "Growing through Faith and Knowledge", it is hoped that all participants can continue to grow into knowledgeable, faithful, and well-mannered individuals. The values gained from this activity are expected not to stop at mere understanding of the material, but to be applied tangibly in daily life, so that students are able to lead life with knowledge as provision, faith as a guide, and morality as a self-reflection.
