The National Seminar held on July 30, 2019 was an activity carried out by the Department of Civil Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and was one of a series of XII LUSTRUM events of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This National Seminar is also expected to provide solutions for Medan City in overcoming flooding, transportation and waste problems. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that in the future there will be good cooperation, discussion and follow-up for solutions to overcome the problems of flooding, transportation and waste in Medan City. On this occasion we also express our appreciation and gratitude to the ranks of the Rectorate of the University of North Sumatra, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Lecturers of the Department of Civil Engineering, Medan City Government, the National Association of Indonesian Consultants (INKINDO), keynote speakers, reviewer team, editor team, sponsors, presenters, participants and all committees who succeeded this event so that it is beneficial for all of us.
