The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully held an Industrial Engineering Sharing Session themed "Introduction to Industrial Engineering" on Thursday, March 14, 2024. The event featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukaria Sinulingga, M.Eng., as the keynote speaker, who discussed the fundamental concepts and roles of Industrial Engineering in various sectors. The session aimed to broaden participants' understanding of Industrial Engineering and its relevance in the professional world.
This Sharing Session was attended by students, lecturers, and professionals in the field of Industrial Engineering. Participants joined the event either in person at the Smart Class of Industrial Engineering at USU or virtually via Zoom Meeting. With its hybrid format, the session provided a broad opportunity for participants to engage in discussions and exchange ideas with the speaker, while strengthening collaboration between academics and practitioners in the development of Industrial Engineering.
