Medan, August 3, 2026 — The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), received a visit from the Suara USU team for an interview regarding the KAAB accreditation achievement of the Undergraduate Program in Architecture, FT USU. The accreditation achievement represents an important milestone in efforts to strengthen the quality of education and recognize the quality of the study program's academic provision.
The interview took place in a discussion setting between the Suara USU team and FT USU leadership. During the session, information regarding the accreditation achievement and the development of the Undergraduate Program in Architecture was shared as part of efforts to highlight academic achievements and the continuous quality improvement initiatives undertaken by the Faculty of Engineering.

Publication through university media serves as a strategic means of expanding access to institutional information for the academic community and the public. Transparent communication regarding the accreditation process and its outcomes can also strengthen transparency, increase appreciation for quality improvement efforts, and build public trust in the delivery of education at FT USU.
From the perspective of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education through the dissemination of information regarding quality assurance achievements in architectural education. It is also relevant to SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, particularly through strengthening transparency, public communication, and accountability within educational institutions.
Through this activity, FT USU reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving the quality of education while establishing informative, objective, and responsible public communication. The KAAB accreditation achievement is expected not only to serve as recognition of the quality of the Undergraduate Program in Architecture but also as motivation to pursue continuous quality improvement.
