TERATI (Industrial Engineering Gathering) is an annual program organized by HIMTI FT-USU under the Public Relations division. This year’s event carried the theme "Moment to Shine Our Memory and Make New History." The event aimed to strengthen connections and discuss various topics involving seniors, students, parents, lecturers, and alumni of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s Industrial Engineering program. Additionally, it served to introduce the field of Industrial Engineering as widely applied in the professional world, as well as to introduce the new Head and Secretary of the Department. This event also showcased LAPTI (Industrial Engineering Development Institution) in collaboration with HATI (Industrial Engineering Alumni Association), the Department, and HIMTI.

The event was held in a hybrid format on November 20, 2021. The offline session took place at the KBIH Al-Abidin Hall, while the virtual session was conducted via Zoom and live-streamed on the Industrial Engineering Department’s YouTube channel. The activities ran from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (WIB).

The program included a talk show with the theme "Breaking Industrial Stereotype," featuring representatives from HATI, the Head of the Study Program, and the Head of HIMTI. Other highlights included a traditional dance performance by 2021 batch students, regional songs and the Industrial Engineering Hymn performed by the 2021 batch choir virtually, a band performance by Industrial Engineering students, and a group photo session to conclude the event.

Through this gathering, it is hoped that students can strengthen ties, get to know alumni, lecturers, parents, and the academic community of Industrial Engineering at USU. Moreover, the event is expected to provide new insights, both for professional life and for adapting to the Industrial Engineering environment at USU.
