The Head of the USU Civil Engineering Department participated in The 33rd AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (Tier 1) in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 7-10, 2019. This program aimed to foster an understanding of quality management within a university-level institution. The trainers who provided the material were: Mr. Johnson Ong Chee Bin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evangeline Bautista.

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is continuously committed to improving education quality and international accreditation. The participation of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department in The 33rd ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) reflects this ongoing effort. The AUN-QA event itself is an important forum for higher education institutions in Southeast Asia to share best practices and quality standards, ensuring that study programs offered meet global excellence criteria.
