TORSI Team 1 and Team 2 from USU’s Department of Civil Engineering won First and Second Runner-Up at the 23rd National Concrete Competition held at Tarumanegara University.
The Department of Civil Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), has once again achieved national recognition in a prestigious student competition. At the 23rd National Concrete Competition themed "Eco High Strength Concrete" held at the Civil Engineering Department of Tarumanegara University, TORSI Team 1 won First Runner-Up, while TORSI Team 2 secured Second Runner-Up. Both teams were supervised by Ir. Torang Sitorus, M.T., Head of the Materials and Concrete Engineering Laboratory at USU.
TORSI Team 1 consisted of Ridwan, Eka, and Muammar, while Team 2 included Rizky, Bagas, and Wahyu. This competition is one of the most prestigious events among civil engineering students across Indonesia, focusing on precision in planning and achieving target concrete compressive strength. This victory adds to the list of notable achievements by USU Civil Engineering students and reinforces their reputation for excellence and competitiveness at the national level.
