Universitas Sumatera Utara trained lab assistants and technicians for its new Vocational Training Program on January 11–12, 2022, supported by the EU Erasmus+ Program. The initiative integrates advanced Industry 4.0 equipment.

On January 11th and 12th, 2022, Universitas Sumatera Utara hosted an on-campus event titled “Erasmus+ Industry 4.0 for Vocational and Education Training Program.” The event aimed to test newly acquired equipment and train lab assistants and technicians on how to operate it. This equipment will later support the new Vocational and Education Training Program at USU. The equipment and training program were funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program under Project Number 610455-EPP-1-2019-1-MY-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
