During the activity, participants received both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in producing dishwashing liquid, multipurpose cleaner, and solid soap using eco-enzymes. Participants were introduced not only to the materials and product formulations but also to the production processes, the functions of each ingredient, and essential aspects of product safety and quality.

The use of eco-enzymes in this activity is expected to increase community awareness of organic material processing and its potential utilization as a component in cleaning products. Through hands-on learning, participants are expected to develop practical skills that can be applied independently at home or further developed into productive activities.

This community service activity also demonstrates the active role of the Chemical Engineering Study Program at USU in transferring knowledge and technology to the community, particularly through simple and applicable innovations that have the potential to generate both economic and environmental benefits.

The activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education by improving community knowledge and skills, as well as SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production through the utilization of organic materials and the development of products that promote more sustainable resource use.
