The USU Chemical Engineering Student Exchange to Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) improves academic achievement and socio-cultural character. The program provides cross-campus learning experiences as well as academic certificates for selected participants.

The Student Exchange Program between the Chemical Engineering Study Program of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and the Chemical Engineering Study Program of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) was held again. This program is part of an effort to improve academic achievement and develop students' socio-cultural character, as well as provide opportunities for students to experience the atmosphere of education outside the home campus.

This exchange program is attended by students who are currently taking semester 3 or 5 in the USU Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75. In addition, participants must also ensure that they are not currently participating in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which has converted 20 credits. Some of the benefits of this program are learning experience at UNDIP as well as a certificate of participation as proof of cross-campus academic experience.

This semester, the exchange program was attended by seven selected students, namely:

  3. Anjuli Holme Tessa (NIM 230405048)
  4. Arraya Badawi R (NIM 230405060)
  5. Haikal M.H. Siregar (NIM 230405067)
  6. Lucky Putra (NIM 230405068)

The selection process has been carried out through several stages, starting from registration and administrative selection, submission of courses to be taken, to departure orientation. After undergoing the academic process at UNDIP, students will get value conversion and academic recognition in accordance with the rules that apply at USU.

This exchange program is expected to open USU Chemical Engineering students' insights into a broader academic environment, enrich competency networks, and improve socio-cultural skills in interacting with students from other universities.
