Visit of the Head of the USU Industrial Engineering Study Program to the Railway Transportation System Testing Center Thailand 2024
The Head of the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Mr. Ir. Aulia Ishak, S.T., M.T., Ph.D visited the Railway Transportation System Testing Center (RTTC) Thailand on June 10-11, 2024.
This visit was carried out in the framework of "Technical Cooperation on Research and Development and Application of Railway Inspection and Monitoring Technology."
The objectives of this activity include:
- Promote railroad technology transfer cooperation in the ASEAN region.
- Improving the level of railway operational safety by developing local railway technology and its application in ASEAN countries.
- Develop a network of railway research and implementation in ASEAN countries through knowledge and infrastructure exchange, joint research, and promoting independent railway technologies.
- Enhance regional connectivity and sustainable development.
