Universitas Sumatera Utara proudly presents the 12th Product Design Competition 2022, a national competition for active students from various disciplines to develop innovative AI-based product designs in the disruption era.

Competition Subthemes:

  • Food

  • Energy

  • Health

  • Transportation

  • Engineering

  • Defense and Security

  • Maritime

Participant Requirements:

  • Each team consists of a maximum of three active students from the same institution.

  • There are no restrictions on majors.

  • Registration and abstract submission are free of charge.

Total Prizes:

  • 1st Winner: IDR 5,000,000

  • 2nd Winner: IDR 3,000,000

  • 3rd Winner: IDR 1,000,000

  • Best Presentation: IDR 500,000

  • Best Video: IDR 500,000

Competition Timeline:

  • Registration & Abstract Submission: February 8 – March 24, 2022

  • Abstract Announcement: March 26, 2022

  • Full Paper Submission: March 27 – April 30, 2022

  • Payment Deadline: April 30, 2022

  • Finalist Announcement: May 13, 2022

  • Video Submission: May 14 – May 27, 2022

  • Final Stage: May 30, 2022

  • Closing Ceremony: June 3, 2022
