Three USU Electrical Engineering lecturers attended the ERASMUS+ meeting in Rome. Ind4.0 introduces an MSc in Industry 4.0 for ASEAN higher education institutions.

Three lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, were assigned to attend the international ERASMUS+ KA2 CBHE meeting titled "Master Degree in Industry 4.0/Ind4.0" held on April 20–22, 2022, at Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi, Rome, Italy. The project has been awarded a grant under the European Framework of ERASMUS+ KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education Programmes.

Ind4.0 aims to deliver a Master of Science (MSc) Programme in Industry 4.0, which will be offered by higher education institutions from Cambodia, Indonesia, and Malaysia, all of which are part of the ASEAN region.
