General Information

Studying at the Environmental Engineering Study Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara was an extraordinary experience. I gained invaluable experiences, both academically and socially. Although there were still many facility limitations on campus at that time, those challenges created countless unforgettable memories—from working on major assignments and laboratory experiments to completing my final project. I hope the Environmental Engineering Study Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara continues to grow and improve in the future.

It was a delightful and unexpected experience to join and gain knowledge at the Environmental Engineering Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara. Although it was still a relatively new department when I was a student, the quality of education was just as excellent as that of more established programs. Moreover, the strong sense of camaraderie among students and lecturers created a family-like atmosphere, making those far from home feel warmly welcomed.

Of course, every institution has its shortcomings. However, these should serve as motivation for Environmental Engineering USU to continue growing and achieving excellence. This progress is also made possible by the dedication and expertise of its lecturers.

Environmental Engineering—One Heart, One Soul!

"Because of Environmental Engineering, I have become who I am today." That is probably the most fitting sentence I could say. My learning experience at the Environmental Engineering Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara has shaped me into the person I am now. I not only gained academic knowledge but also developed myself through the Environmental Engineering Student Association (HMTL).

As part of the second batch, I faced many challenges and limitations. However, those very challenges shaped me into a resilient and determined alumnus. The experiences in the laboratory and working on major assignments gave me a glimpse into the real working world.

There are countless stories, memories, and experiences from my time at Environmental Engineering Universitas Sumatera Utara. I hope Environmental Engineering USU continues to thrive and grow into a leading and most sought-after program. Wishing health and happiness to all the lecturers and staff at Environmental Engineering USU.
