The Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, continues to support the improvement of cooperation governance through the implementation of the Partner Satisfaction Survey via an online platform. The survey was conducted by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as the UPPS through the partner satisfaction questionnaire.
The survey serves as one of the evaluation instruments to obtain direct feedback from partners regarding the quality of management services and the implementation of cooperation. The aspects evaluated include the ease of establishing cooperation, administrative services, implementation of activities according to agreements, benefits of cooperation for institutions, sustainability of cooperation relationships, and staff responsiveness to partners’ needs.
The survey results showed positive responses. All partners gave good assessments of the various aspects evaluated, with the majority of respondents stating that they agreed or strongly agreed. These results indicate that the cooperation services of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, have consistently met partners’ expectations over the past three years.

The evaluation over the past three years also showed an upward trend in partner satisfaction with the management services of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. These findings provide an important basis for the faculty and study program to maintain aspects that have been functioning well while continuously improving cooperation services.
The implementation of this survey is in line with the commitment of Universitas Sumatera Utara to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Partner satisfaction evaluation is an important part of building effective, mutually beneficial, and sustainable partnerships between higher education institutions and government institutions, businesses, industries, universities, and other stakeholders.
This activity also supports SDG 16—Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through strengthening transparent, responsive, and evaluation-based institutional governance. In the context of higher education, the results of the cooperation evaluation also support SDG 4—Quality Education, as quality partnerships can expand support for education, research, community service, and the development of academic networks.
For the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering, the survey results form part of the process of continuous evaluation and quality improvement. Feedback from partners is expected to strengthen the quality of cooperation supporting the development of doctoral education, joint research, community service, and the contribution of the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering to the development of resilient, smart, and sustainable infrastructure.
