Through supervision and technical assistance conducted at the faculty level, the Directorate of Human Resources provided guidance to each work unit in preparing and refining Anjab and ABK documents in accordance with applicable regulations.
The assistance program aimed to ensure that job positions and workloads across each unit were aligned with the organization's duties, functions, and responsibilities. In addition, the activity served as a means of obtaining accurate and measurable data to support human resource planning, organizational restructuring, competency development, and the fulfillment of human resource needs at Universitas Sumatera Utara.

During the activity, the Faculty of Engineering was represented by the Head of the Administration Division and all Heads of Subdivisions directly involved in preparing the Job Analysis and Workload Analysis documents. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure also attended the activity.
The participation of the Faculty of Engineering reflects its commitment to promoting professional, effective, and accountable institutional governance. Comprehensive Job Analysis and Workload Analysis documents are expected to serve as a foundation for more targeted human resource management, thereby supporting improvements in both administrative services and the implementation of the university's Tridharma of Higher Education.
Through the assistance provided by the Directorate of Human Resources, all work units within the Faculty of Engineering are expected to produce high-quality, accurate Anjab and ABK documents that are aligned with organizational needs. This initiative forms part of the broader effort to establish excellent and sustainable governance at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
From an SDG perspective, the preparation of Anjab and ABK contributes directly to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by strengthening institutional governance and organizational accountability. The activity also supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through more proportional workload management, as well as SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening human resource management as one of the foundations for improving the quality of higher education services.
